MRCP Back Benchers is an online preparation academy. Our Part 1 and Part 2 courses combine recorded teaching, clinical theory, question banks, live revision near the exam and mock examinations.

We organise these resources around a repeatable study routine: listen to the lecture, review the relevant theory, then practise questions. This gives candidates a clear way to move from understanding a topic to applying it.

The team supports candidates through the batch discussion group. The group is open around the clock for questions; replies are provided as the team reviews them. Live revision arrangements are shared in the group near the exam.

How we approach preparation

  1. Teaching comes first. High-yield lectures introduce the concepts and preparation priorities for each topic.
  2. Theory makes the explanation easier to revisit. Use the clinical theory book for revision and clarification.
  3. Questions turn study into active practice. Review errors, compare answer options and return to topics that need more work.
  4. Revision and mocks bring topics together. Practise pacing and plan the final stages of preparation around the areas you find difficult.
