Start with one topic and its high-yield lecture

Use the teaching as the starting point for your study block. Listen for the main concepts and the points that connect them. Pause to summarise the explanation in your own words, and note any uncertainty to revisit.

Recordings are available throughout course access. You can return to a difficult explanation after question practice rather than trying to understand every detail in one sitting.

Review the clinical theory before moving on

The clinical theory book supports revision and clarification. Read the relevant section after the lecture and resolve the questions left in your notes. Keep a short summary of what you are likely to need again; copying every paragraph creates more material to manage.

Apply the topic in the primary QBank

The Part 1 primary QBank contains past recalls organised by domain, with mock-format practice. Begin with the topic you have just studied. For each question, identify the clue that supports the answer and the concept the question is testing.

After a set, record the reason for each error. Missing knowledge requires a different review from misreading a stem. Return to the lecture or theory for explanation, then practise again after a gap.

Use the secondary QBank to reinforce concepts

The secondary QBank contains concept-focused questions selected to strengthen understanding. Use it where the primary practice shows a weak topic or where you need to apply the same idea in a different setting.

Move towards mixed practice, revision and mocks

Once you have covered a range of domains, mix them to practise recognising the problem without a topic label. Live high-yield revision takes place near the exam, with arrangements shared in the batch group.

Mock exams and the grand mock help you practise exam pacing and concentration. Review your answers afterwards and use the errors to guide the next revision session.
